Tour Plan

Day 1 Marrakech

This day trip will take you from Marrakech southwards to Ourika valley, one of the most beautiful and best preserved in Morocco, located on the fertile plain of Haouz.

Along the way, we will stop to pick up some supplies for a berbere family house that we will visit to see how they live and support them with our visit.

We will then visit a small family farm where you can learn about their produce and help with some daily activities, for instance planting a tree or helping with the harvest. Lunch will be at the family farm.

The car will drive along the rivers meandering at the foot of the mountain, dotted with typical Berber hamlets of backed clay and stones (Ourika is famous for its pottery here and you are welcome to try a pottery workshop with a small artisan. We will also visit a local regional market or ‘’souk’’, where you will be able to witness the authentic everyday life of rural Morocco.
